Volunteers of America is having their annual fundraiser to support our local treatment programs. As you may not know, Sheridan has a woman's (Gathering Place) and men's (Life House) residential substance abuse treatment facility as well as a female and a male Recovery Home to help support those people in recovery. These programs have been very successful in helping treat drug and alcohol abuse for both genders. Each facility is state funded as well as funded by generous people through out Wyoming who believe in our cause.
We are working to raise money to help support our programs as well as to help move all of our programs to our new campus location College Meadows Drive.
On May 22nd, 2010 we will be having a fundraiser that is open to the public at the Senior Center. There will be dinner, music, and auction items to enjoy. It is a $10 admission fee.
Please come and enjoy!! Invite your friends and your families! This will be a family event!
